Visitor statistics and privacy

Analytics runs only after choosing “Allow”. It records page views, clicks on downloadable files and directly opened images, browser sessions, language and referring domains. IP addresses and full external referring URLs are not stored in its database.

A random session identifier is stored in browser session storage only after consent. It estimates sessions, not unique people. The default retention period is 90 days; expired records are deleted on the next analytics database access (unless the operator has configured a different disclosed period). Country is unknown unless a trusted geography header has been securely configured.
